On 11 November 2020 @ 14:00 the party has announced that party leader Rasmus Paludan and others will assemble in sympathy with the plight of the French People and burn the Quran
In preparation for the peaceful public assembly, Mr. Rasmus Paludan has written the following to the French Embassy in Copenhagen:
To the French Embassy
We in Stram Kurs are appalled by the repeated terrorist attacks committed by Muslims in France.
Therefore, we also demonstrated in sympathy with the French people and with Samuel Paty on 17 October 2020 in front of the embassy in Copenhagen.
Since then, however, another cowardly Muslim terrorist attack has been committed in France.
In sympathy with the French people, we therefore wish on 11 November 2020 at. 14.00 to demonstrate for freedom and against Islamist terrorism and burn the Koran at the Arc de Triomphe in Paris to assert the common Danish and French ideals of freedom of assembly and freedom of speech.
As guests in France, it is of course very important for us to comply with all French law.
Our goal is a calm demonstration, where we can show that the French and Danish people are strong and can use freedom of speech and assembly in peace and harmony.
We are therefore seeking guidance on whether we should apply for permission for our demonstration against Islamist terrorism?
If so, where should we contact?
Are there other rules in France that we should be aware of?
We expect to arrive by car in Paris on the evening of November 10, 2020.
With the utmost respect and devotion
